♦ Additional Worship Time
Beginning November 30th, the First Sunday of Advent, another opportunity
for worship will be added. The additional time will be 10:45 beginning with a hymn sing. Our Sunday morning schedule will be as follows:
8:45 Worship starting with hymn sing
10:30 Sunday school for all ages
10:45 Worship starting with hymn sing
Tell your friends who sleep in that they can come later in the morning to worship.
♦ Operation Christmas Child (Shoe Box)
1. SHOE BOX - Use an empty shoe box (standard size, please) or a small plastic container. You can wrap the box (lid separately), but wrapping is not required. Most importantly, pray for the child who will receive your gift.
2. BOY OR GIRL? - Determine whether your gift will be for a boy or a girl, and the child’s age category: 2-4, 5-9, or 10-14. Print out the appropriate boy/girl label by downloading the artwork to the right. Mark the correct age category on the label, and tape the label to the top of your box.
3. FILL WITH GIFTS - Fill the box with a variety of gifts that will bring delight to a child.
Must be at the church by November 23rd 2008
♦ Chargers - The first Chargers meeting will be on Sunday, November 9th at 4:00 pm in Fellowship Hall. Our first pancake breakfast will be on Saturday, November 15th, from 7 am to 9 am. The price is only $3.50 each for all the pancakes you can eat, two eggs, two sausages, applesauce and coffee or juice. Come and enjoy good food and good fellowship. See you there

We suggest one of our wonderful Cook Books--for everyone on your list. Easy to wrap, easy to mail, and full of wonderful recipes like Crackerjack Cookies, Almond Biscotti, Spudnuts and the best raised doughnuts you ever sunk your tooth into. And they only cost $10.00 each.
♦ Handquilters/Knot-tie Ladies - Handquilters/Knot-tie Ladies will meet on Tuesday’s beginning on November 4, 2008. We need people who will sew tops for Mission Quilts. The tops are made in two sizes, 60” X 80 “ or 70” x 84”. There are two patterns available in the Narthex. You may also use your own pattern, and sew them at home. You may bring the tops to the church office once they are finished. See you in November!Please come and visit us!
♦ Thanksgiving Dinner - Your invited to worship at 10 am on Thursday, Nov 27. From 11:30 am to 2:00 pm you are invited to eat Thanksgiving Dinner at the church. There is no need to spend Thanksgiving alone. Come and eat!
