DAY 2: A Two-Day Exploration of Faith, Beliefs, and Practice

What does it truly mean to be United Methodist? How do our beliefs shape the way we live, worship, serve, and connect with others?

Join us for a two-day class exploring the foundational beliefs, traditions, and practices of the United Methodist Church through Living Our Beliefs by Bishop Kenneth L. Carder.

Together, we will examine the core teachings of Methodism, deepen our understanding of John Wesley's theological principles, and explore how our faith calls us to put our beliefs into action.

Through guided discussion, reflection, and shared learning, participants will discover that being United Methodist is about more than what we believe—it's about how those beliefs influence our relationships, strengthen our communities, and inspire us to live more Christ-centered lives.

Whether you are new to Methodism, a lifelong member, or simply curious about the United Methodist tradition, this two-day experience offers an opportunity to grow in faith, understanding, and connection.

Our class will meet in the Narthex. There is plenty of parking available, and we encourage you to arrive a little early to get settled in, enjoy some refreshments, and get comfortable before we begin.

We are excited to meet each of you and to spend this time learning, sharing, and growing together in our understanding of United Methodist history, heritage, and beliefs. Lay Servant Ministries is a wonderful opportunity to strengthen our faith, discover new ways to serve, and build relationships with others who share a calling to ministry.
